Eleanor Marsh founded Parley in 2019. She has 20 years' experience in international media relations, crisis communications and advocacy, advising clients in the legal, political, corporate and non-profit worlds.
Eleanor began her career as a correspondent for an international news agency, reporting from Madrid and then Buenos Aires, where she covered elections, debt crises and human rights trials across South America. She joined a global PR firm in London in 2012, leading its Latin America practice and advising energy, mining and financial clients in disputes across the region.
She left to start Parley after realising the clients she most wanted to help, those with strong cases and weak voices, rarely fitted a big agency’s model. She holds an MA in Latin American Studies from a London university and has taught crisis communications to postgraduate students.
Outside work Eleanor sails badly, reads Latin American fiction in the original and is learning Polish, very slowly.
