Podcasts & Audio
Long-form trust, straight into their ears
No other medium gets 40 uninterrupted minutes of someone's attention. Podcast listeners choose what they hear, listen to the end and come back each week. For organisations with a complicated story, that's a rare opportunity.
We help clients use audio in three ways: as guests on the shows their audiences already trust, as hosts of their own series, and as a way to turn dense reports and research into something people will actually hear.
Why audio, why now?
Podcast listening in the UK has grown year on year for a decade, and it's strongest among the audiences our clients most want to reach: policymakers, journalists, professionals and engaged younger people.
Yet most organisational podcasts fail. They're launched without a clear audience, run out of ideas by episode six and sound like a corporate video with the pictures removed.
How Parley is different
We start with the listener, not the microphone. Before anything is recorded we agree who the series is for, why they'd choose it over everything else in their feed and how it serves your wider campaign.
We book guests who have something to say, prepare hosts properly and produce to broadcast standard with trusted audio partners. Then we promote every episode through press, social and the networks you already have.

Questions we’re often asked
Do we need a studio?
No. We record remotely to broadcast quality, or in partner studios in London when it matters.
How long before a podcast finds an audience?
Plan for a season of at least eight episodes. Guest appearances on established shows can reach an audience from day one.
Can you do video podcasts?
Yes. We film for YouTube and cut short clips for social as standard.
Got something worth listening to?
Most of our work starts with a quiet call before anything reaches the press. Tell us what's happening. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
